Does anyone know how to stop the pain or at least help it when it comes to braces?

it is very painful right now and i need some advice.
Answer:
the pain or sensitivity or the discomfort that you are feeling is normal. it will go away after 3-4 days. it will subside. do not drink any pain reliever. y? because the effect will hinder your teeth to move making your braces senseless.
Take 2 Advil and rub numbing gel (like for cold sores or teething babies) on any rough spots where the wires are rubbing you the wrong way.
take a few tylenol is about the only thing you can do until they ease up.
there is really not much you can do. the braces are shifting your teeth, and sometimes its a painful process.when i used to have braces, i would take advil right before i would go in to get them tightned, so that way it would already start kicking in by the time the pain started. keep taking them as directed (2 every 4-6 hours) for the next few days. it should help, but nothing will take the pain away completely. your teeth need to shift.i also used to eat very soft foods, so i wouldn't aggrivate the pain by chewing.
Just some advice...If the sides are digging in your cheeks, make sure to get some beeswax (your ortho should have supplied you with some) on the sides. As far as eating goes, I take it you just recently had them put on, anyway try eating with your back teeth, I find their less painful than the fronts. And if in fact you did just get them put on or tightened then the pain should subside shortly.Dont forget tylenol/advil and in the end it'll all be worth it.
advil
Ibprofen(no clue how to spell it), tylonel(again, dont know how to spell it), Advil, any kind of pain med.
I'm ten and I just got my braces a couple of weeks ago. They hurt for a couple of days. But then they didn't hurt. So if they still hurt then get Motrin or medicine or a pill or something. Feel Better.
OK...Tylenol, Ibeuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Orajel...
believe me you can take away the punch, but it will never comepletely go away ...but in a few days you'll be good...
believe me...I know.
take some advil, then have some nice cold ice cream or cold stuff. The soreness will happen everytime you get them tightend just because your braces are doing their job by strighting them but dont worry, you should be good the next day or 2. I wouldn't use the numbing gell because it taste bad. Just have soft cold stuff to clam down the soreness.
