Do the doctors put you to sleep for putting the braces on?

You go to the orthidonist and does he put you to sleep before he/she puts the braces on?
Answer:
No They just glue them on
nope, and dont worry about it cuz they dont even go near any part of ur tooth that can feel (nerves) its all on the out sideyou should be worried about after when you cant eat for 2 days
No, but it doesn't hurt...the application, that is. Afterward, you start to hurt. I suggest taking Tylenol, and lots of it, before and after the appointment.
Nope. You are wide awake for the whole wonderful experience.
sorry, but no
No, getting them on shouldnt hurt but the next day or two stinks. It hurts so badly. I would suggest pain medicine those next 2 or so days.
no. they dont even sedate you whatsoever. its not a painful process to get them put on. the thing that will hurt is the fact that youre teeth will be sore for a few days when you get them first put on and when you get them tightened. i would not worry about getting them intially whatsoever. the only thing that would suck about the entire shebang is getting used to them. you'll feel like theyre too big b/c the brackets will be between your tooth and the inside of your mouth. other than that dont sweat it. most people are orthodontically challegened. :)
No; it's done while you're awake. It's really not painful, since they're not drilling into your teeth or anything. You may get an occasional twinge from your gums, but that's about it.
no sleeping. its all while your awake. they do put like 3 different things in your mouth to keep your tounge and lips out of the way, that can hurt. but after, you'll start to feel it bad. i got mine on today, and 1. it is starting to hurt yes, but 2. it will fell better after a couple days or weeks. dont worry!
good luck
